MarketDeal24.Com – On Friday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the northern Himalayan border in Ladakh. Controversial border clashes between Indian and Chinese forces have escalated tensions between the two largest countries in Asia.

A photo by Reuter’s partner ANI shows Modi meeting Indian troops at a base in the Nimu area of Ladakh.

Modi was accompanied by Defense Chief General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narvane, officials said.

India and China have been blaming each other for starting clashes in the Galway Valley on June 15. India lost their 20 soldiers on this clash.

Equipped with nuclear weapons, the two neighbors have gathered troops on their border. Much of the border between the two countries remains disputed. And military and diplomatic talks are underway to reduce this conflict.
