Modi was accompanied by Defense Chief General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narvane, officials said.
India and China have been blaming each other for starting clashes in the Galway Valley on June 15. India lost their 20 soldiers on this clash.
Equipped with nuclear weapons, the two neighbors have gathered troops on their border. Much of the border between the two countries remains disputed. And military and diplomatic talks are underway to reduce this conflict.
