MarketDeal24.Com – Tata Motors Ltd. of India has announced that it will be separating its passenger vehicles business into a separate unit within the organization.
A decision that seems more like a timely response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the company also announced that this decision by the company is the first step towards securing ‘mutually beneficial strategic alliances.’
The proposal has received in-priciple approval from its board, the company mentioned in a release.
The new unit will be presided over by Shailersh Chandra, who is working at the same organization at the time. Chandra will take over as the president of the passenger vehicles business from 1 April from Mayank Pareek, who is set to retire.
